2017 «J’M Entreprendre*» Contest: 2 iaelyon teams awarded!

Evènement | December 1, 2016

On November 21st, amongst the five projects in the final round submitted by iaelyon students, two won the “J’M Entreprendre* ” contest organized by the Entrepreneurship Department of University Jean Moulin.

The contest, open to students, Researchers, Ph.D. students, administrative staff, and faculty staff, both Professors and Visiting Professors at University Jean Moulin, aims at rewarding and supporting every innovating project that has the potential to turn an idea into a concrete project. There are two categories for the contest: entrepreneurship with an economic purpose (creation of a business for-profit) and entrepreneurship with a social and/or cultural purpose (organizations, cooperatives, community development projects etc.)

The rewarded projects:

Economiel, an app for subscriptions management: 3rd Price

The project consists in an app that allows to track and maximize subscriptions. Thus when a subscription is no longer competitive or is about to expire, the app lets the users know that they can unsubscribe with no charge and offers them other options. The app allows for example to benefit from a trial-period for services like Amazon Premium or Netflix without enduring a tacit renewal or subscription offer at the end of the trial period.

Project leaders:  Florian FRISON and Alejandro SANDOVAL EGLI, in the first year of Master’s in  Production, Logistics and Purchasing Management, Maria GARCIA, in the first year of Master’s in Entrepreneurship and Development of New Companies. Solenn FUMONDE, in the first year of Master’s in Human Resources Management and  Yingxin GAO, in the first year of Master’s in Marketing and Sales.

NOSC: eco-friendly sportswear brand: Audience award.

The NOSC Project, Natural & Organic Sport Clothing, was born from an observation: to this day there seems to be no satisfying solution to combine a will to respect the environment and a “healthy” sports practice, in other words wearing sustainable clothes, respectful of the environment and recycled. The idea is to conceive, produce and sell sportswear, starting with a tee-shirt, only made or mostly made of natural fibers either recycled or organic while keeping the same technical features than the products already on the sportswear market.

Project leaders: Maugan PENIGUEL, Loic VAN CAUWELAERT and Nathan VITU, students in the Bachelor in Management

The three other projects submitted in the final round:

“Mon Capital Santé” (My Health capital)
Service offer allowing users to overall evaluate their medical condition in order to first apprehend it better and then improve it . The service is unique and innovating since it relies on a scientific modelling of health and its determinants. The aim is to help users improve their medical condition thanks to a personalized and complete health diagnosis but also thanks to by-products which answer specific needs targeted in advance. The project will consist in an e-commerce website with a personal account dedicated to the health diagnosis of the user.

Project leader: Léo ASTORINO, in the first year of Master’s in Entrepreneurship and Development of New Companies.

“Le Bon Tacot” (The old banger)
The objective of the lebontacot.fr website is to facilitate the purchase of second-hand vehicles by helping purchasers online. The positive aspects of the website: get to know purchasers through a questionnaire so as to suggest the ads most suited to their needs and give them cost indicators (fuel budget, repairs and maintenance, drop in value, insurance…) according to their use. This all aims at offering them the vehicles that will cost them the least per year. “Le Bon Tacot” hopes to become the 1st partner for second-hand vehicles purchasing.

Project leaders: Hugo PASTRE, Jimmy PARDO, students in the second year of Master’s in Entrepreneurship and Development of New Companies.

KUBEAM
