This ranking, published in the section Economics-Public Affairs-Management, takes only into account the degrees with more than 50 students that are available to French high school graduates.

The “Obs” Index of Attractiveness

In order to rank the university degrees in higher education institutions, L’Obs has used statistics from the French high school-university matriculation website, Parcoursup. It measures the attractiveness of a degree for recent high school graduates by looking at three points: the number of students who have received excellent grades upon graduating from high school that applied for the degree; the amount of students accepted into the degree, which can be higher than the number of students admitted if the candidates have turned down their offer; and the acceptance rate of the students given an offer to study in the degree.

L'Obs has revealed: “In almost three quarters of universities offering economics and management in our top 20, the majority of students that were admitted had some of the best results in the country. And the percentage of accepted students never goes over 60%, which means a higher selectiveness than in most private business schools.”

The two bachelor’s degrees of iaelyon have stood out

In the top 20 Economics-Management-Public Affairs category, the Bachelor MSH was placed at 10th position in France (5th for management studies), and the Bachelor TQM was 13th (and 7th for management studies).
